Dr. Teresa Kowalczyk Vitous DNP, APRN, FNP-C, CEO/Owner, Family Medical Clinic & Wellness LLC

Dr. Teresa Kowalczyk Vitous is the Lead primary care provider, CEO and the owner of the Family Medical Clinic & Wellness LLC. in Port Saint Lucie. She is Nationally Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine, Board Certified with American Academy Procedural Medicine in Aesthetics and Nationally DOT Certified Medical Examiner.

Dr. Vitous graduated with a 4.0 /4.0 GPA from Chatham University, Pittsburgh, PA, in 2010 with her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.

In 2002, she graduated from Florida Atlantic University with her Masters of Science (MSN) degree and in 1996 received her Bachelors of Science (BSN) degree with Honors, Cum Laude . She also completed post graduate training in aesthetic medicine .

In addition to her education, she had acquired 29 years of highly medical professional valuable experience in primary care, internal medicine, and cardiology setting, senior clinician in retail health with Minute Clinic, Director of Nursing at a rehab facility, and Clinical Coordinator within rehabilitation and hospital settings.

Dr. Vitous is a compassionate , caring, and conscientious clinician with all her patients . She is highly adaptable to frequently changing clinical environments and situations, with ability to remain focused under stress and in emergency situations. She has outstanding interpersonal, and communication skills with fluency in Polish and English.

In her spare time, Dr. Vitous likes to spend her precious time with her family, where she enjoys watching her daughter ride horses, travel to the mountains in NC to relax and hike the woods. She also enjoys reading and listening to classical music.

Dr. Vitous is the author of several published articles on “Leech Therapy“ and “Hot Tub Folliculitis“.

Dr. Deborah Hollimon is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate degree in Nursing, specializing in Asthma and Allergy. In addition to her education, she has over 37years of experience in the medical profession. She has resided in South Florida since 2001 and has dedicated her career to providing exceptional patient care.

Her experience gives her firsthand knowledge of the healthcare industry and practices. She is an advocate for patients’ rights and privileges to have access to compassionate and informative healthcare.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, as she is reminded that family is the cornerstone of all connections. She is also the author of several children’s books and is a holistic coach for natural pathways. Deborah Hollimon is as dedicated to her faith as she is to her patients, for it is her foundation for all healing.

Lydia Vitous

Lydia Vitous Assistant Office Manager

At Family Medical Clinic and Wellness in Port Saint Lucie, Lydia Vitous brings calm, order, and a warm smile to everyone who walks through the doors. As the Assistant Manager, Lydia is a key part of the clinic’s daily operations—scheduling, organizing, and ensuring patients receive compassionate care efficiently. Her natural leadership and attention to detail help the clinic run smoothly, earning the trust and respect of her colleagues and the patients they serve.

Lydia’s talents go far beyond the walls of the clinic.
After work and on weekends, Lydia trades her scrubs and office headset for boots, breeches, and a helmet. She is a professional equestrian—an accomplished rider who has spent years mastering the art of horsemanship. Whether competing in show jumping events or training her own horses, Lydia brings the same discipline and determination she shows at the clinic to the riding arena. Her bond with horses is strong, built on trust, patience, and hours of focused work.

Recently, Lydia completed her first year at Keiser University, pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Her academic focus reflects her desire to grow as a leader in the healthcare field, with dreams of one day managing a clinic or starting her own wellness center. Balancing school, work, and her equestrian life is not easy, but Lydia meets every challenge with a quiet strength.In May 2024 , Lydia finished her high school and received her Diploma from Lighthouse Christian Academy. She graduated with high cumulative GPA 3.94/4.0.

Elizabeth Pfrommer is a highly experienced Medical Professional with 27 years of Clinical Practice or working in Healthcare and Medicine. She is Nationally Board Certified in Family Medicine, and Certified, trained and experienced in Anti-Aging Hormone Medicine. Her Clinical experience varies from Acute Cardiac Care, Family Medicine settings, And in Anti-Aging Hormone Medicine setting.

Elizabeth has extensive Graduate and Post Graduate education in Family Medicine, and Age Management Hormone Medicine, is skilled at Marketing Strategies and Public Speaking seminars on holistic healing, preventative medicine, and on naturally restoring hormonal disregulation.

Adam Markow Patient’s Care Coordinator

Adam Markow is our patient’s care coordinator at the Family Medical Clinic and Wellness . Adam Markow is Electrical Engineer with diverse electrical experiences . His previous job was a Director of Technical Marketing in the Terrestrial and Undersea Fiber Network development & Data Center industries to Concentrate on Patient Acquisition Strategies .

Mr. Markow graduated from Stanford University in 1988 with a Masters in Electrical Engineering, with concentration in Statistical Communications. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the School of Engineering.

Maarit Ayravainen

Maarit AyravainenMSN, APRN, FNP-C

Maarit Ayravainen is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience providing compassionate, comprehensive care in both urgent care and primary care settings. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Family Practice from Florida Atlantic University and holds national board certification through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Maarit is dedicated to delivering personalized, evidence-based care to patients of all ages. In the urgent care setting, she is highly skilled in evaluating and treating acute conditions, performing minor procedures, and making rapid, accurate clinical decisions. In primary care, her focus includes wellness exams, preventive screenings, chronic disease management, and long-term health planning.

Known for her approachable manner, clear communication, and deep commitment to patient education, Maarit builds strong relationships with her patients based on trust, respect, and shared decision-making. She believes that empowering individuals to take an active role in their health is the key to achieving lasting wellness.

Outside of her clinical practice, Maarit stays current with the latest healthcare guidelines through continuing education and professional development. She is passionate about community health, mentorship, and advancing the nursing profession.

Dr. Gustavo Vallejo

Dr Gustavo Vallejo MD.

Dr. Vallejo is a Medical Doctor who is Board certified in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine . He was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, where he graduated from the School of Medicine, in 1975. He went to Mexico city for a postgraduate Internal Medicine Residency, at Instituto Nacional de Nutricion, for three years. From there, he moved to University of Vermont for a two year program in Endocrinology at Mary Fletcher Hospital in Burllington, Vermont and then moved to Miami at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Universitry of Miami for an additional training in Endocrinology and Diabetes. In 1983, he went back to Honduras to work as Chief of Endocrinology Unit at the University Hospital in Tegucigalpa until 2015 . After he worked as Internal Medicine, Dibetes doctor in his private practice at Honduras Medical Center in Tegucigalpa until 2024. Since then, he has living and practicing medicine in Ports Saint Lucie ,Florida.
